Out Today picked mine up in Frome at 8an

Have checked the RSD UK www and it says there is only one day in 2022 and that's the 23 April. The BBD release is listed. So not sure where the June date comes from as the RSD .com www says April as well.

It is currently on Qobuz at £6.49 for all 15 discs (no DVD) or @1.49 per track!!! An error, but maybe worth getting it whilst they don't know.

I rip all my CDs to a server, but decided not to do all 15 CDs. Ripped original version remastered and Hammersmith Odeon 26 March. Just a brief listen and the remastered version seems clearer than my old CD version. The Hammersmith one seems very different. You do pick up the different environment and there are clear differences. Sad as it may seem, I may well rip all versions just for the hell of it. Very happy with this set....so early on.

The PO says mine is due very soon......looking forward to this, one of the best live albums ever. I remember being in Filey on holiday when it was released on vinyl all those years ago.....

I have an oldish book of Bernie Taupins lyrics for Elton. To me they are like poetry and it would be a really lovely idea to have BBD lyrics given a similar treatment.....but I doubt it would ever happen.

After reading your post I was motivated to listen to the whole album again. I went for the original mix that was part of the latest Cherry Red box set. It transported me back to when I was 17/18 and it is such a great album and the Modern Music Suite is a delight. I played track 1 of the new stereo mix, it's clearer, more defined, but on an initial listen lacked a bit of atmosphere. I'll give the whole album mix a run through another time, but thank you for pushing me to re listen.

Incredibly sorry to hear of your mum passing. We went through a similar experience at the start of 2019 with my 98 year old mother-in-law. Who after a year in and out of hospital for no reason other than old age, picked up an infection on the day it was agreed, after much battling, she could go into a care home. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Yes got mine today, direct from Cherry Red at less than £50 delivered in the UK. Those lovely people at 'the river' will charge you £20+ more.....they did the same with Sunburst Finish.....

My love of DOM stems from seeing them support BBD. Richard did some DOM dates recently, but the dates I booked on didn't go ahead in the end. Yes a new album on the way.

Well, I have racked my brains over the years to remember who supported BBD & RN, as there is a band I'm trying to find and I think they supported BBD/RN. I clearly remember Doctors of Madness (new album soon), John Cooper Clark, possibly Burlesque, but as I read the forum Fingerprintz springs out. Some of their tunes on Youtube and iTunes, but not the song I'm after. The only line I can remember is....'I have a vision...a television', may not even be Fingerprintz. So, at the risk of hijacking this thread, can anyone remember the other support bands from the UK.
