I see Cherry Red are re-releasing the Be Bop remasters as 2 cd sets, material culled from the box sets nothing new. Must be demand though so that's good news.

Now here's a thing apparently Charlie planned to play fretless bass on Drastic Plastic but was delivered a standard fretted bass, they got hold of a fretless neck but couldn't make it fit in France (Juan-le-Pins). What would DP have sounded like with Charlie's fretless bass! Magnificent I should imagine, the mind boggles. 😍🙂

According to online accounts GN remixed a lot of Bills work however Bill left the sessions with a cassette tape, does this tape still exist ? & How much might be on it ?
