Saw him perform a few times. He had a unique sound in a genre of unique sounds.
An incredible musician and a Buddhist. I saw him last year. He and Esperanza Spaulding wrote an opera and it was fabulous! He came out at the end to talk to the audience and received a standing ovation for 10 minutes. What a creative genius!
