Saw all of these artists. Hendrix was outside at Sick's Stadium in Seattle and tried to climb the fence. ^ Ian was with Mott the Hoople at the Paramount, Seattle. ** Was actually at the Al Stewart concert.
I listen mostly to bootlegs of the 'classic' bands these days. A list of 10 official live albums is tough. (Of course, many bootlegs, such as the best BBD, Pink Floyd, Hendrix recordings, have now been officially released.) Here are few that aren't mentioned above:
Lou Reed - Rock 'n' Roll Animal
Genesis - Live (1973) - The bootlegged 'original' 2-lp version includes Supper's Ready
Yes - Yessongs
Allman Brothers - Live at Fillmore East
Al Stewart - Uncorked
Camel - Pressure Points (2009 expanded version)
BBD - Live at the Riviera Theater (Bootlegged but now released as part of Modern Music reissue)
Bob Dylan - Live Manchester 1966 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bootleg_Series_Vol._4:_Bob_Dylan_Live_1966,_The_%22Royal_Albert_Hall%22_Concert)
Something more recent
Slift - Levitation Sessions

This album was a favorite also from my parents collection. I was mesmerized by that version of, What Goes On.
Not exactly huge fan of this band but their live LP "Waiting for Columbus" was excellent and very popular in the States. Mick Taylor's guest spot was a highlight.
