New TV series adaptation of William Gibson's sci-fi novel starts on Amazon Prime on October 21. ("From the creators of Westworld" - which wasn't a good sign for me, as I found Westworld one of the most disappointing things I've seen in a long time, given the expectations). I loved Gibson's complex book, and the sequel, Agency. Let's hope they don't ruin it with slickness and clichéd Hollywood sci-fi tropes.

I saw a trailer for this recently. It looked interesting. I haven't read the novel, but I'll have to check it out. Thanks for mentioning it.
Link here goes to article documenting how Liz Truss is a creature of anonymously-funded ultra-right thinktanks. Which is how Britain becomes a sort of guinea pig dystopian plaything of oligarchs & capitalist warlords, in William Gibson's book.
