Remembering Bob Moog today on his birthday May 23rd; he would have been 90 years old today. I still have fond memories of visiting the local music store DJ's to see demos of the Moog Prodigy and Memorymoog, both of which are still used in my studio. Meeting Bob in person at a John Eaton concert at the University of Chicago in 1992 was a major thrill for me - I slipped a cassette of my latest album Pink Sounds From The Purple Plain into his hand. Bob was always interested in hearing how composers used his products in their music. A very important inventor and engineer!

Happy birthday to Bob Moog! I got to meet him once. A super nice guy. I told him a story about my dad meeting Mort Garson in the 1960s and Mort gave my dad a demonstration of his brand new Moog Modular.
