Been playing some Trojan dub tonight..😎

I've had quite a few pairs of creepers in my time. I think the first pair I had, was as a school lad, around 14 or 15 years old, 1974/75.

This advert predates that, as it's still in the pre-decimal currency, £sd, so before 1971.

Just finished listening to the audible version of Bobby Gillespie’s memoir, read by the author. Both brothel creepers and winkle pickers he mentions frequently.

I used to wear wink's a lot, too.
