Mitzi Gaynor

Funny.

I’m pretty sure that I saw Mitzi Gaynor at Lake Tahoe as well. I know that I saw Petula Clark once when I was a child and once in my early teens.

My friend’s mom when we were maybe 10-year-olds took us to see Sammy Davis, Jr. at Lake Tahoe. I also saw Sammy perform later on in my early teens.

I felt like I was seeing the end of an era of a certain kind of entertainment. I found these performances captivating, exotic, and strange.
