Loved it, band were brilliant as always. However, none of them spoke, and it was odd seeing an excellent concert with no real audience going wild. Even though it was beamed across the world. Needs must, I guess, but felt sad for them.

I just finished watching the Midge Ure 1980 Tour concert. Excellent set and playing but the lack of feedback was a little airless. I thought there would be a little chat as Midge is wont to do but that didn't happen. Also strange that the band were not introduced, but the show was a corker. As I'm over in America, I'm happy that it was streamed so I could at least watch it on the viddy. There was a lot more Visage than I was led to expect and the opening with the great "Yellow Pearl" was an ideal way to kick this off as "Solo In Soho" also came out in 1980.
I watched Madness a few months back in a COVID-19 special live stream. It was just Suggs, Mike Barson and a string quartet in what looked like an empty warehouse loft. It was great. Suggs seemed cheerfully miffed by having no audience to vibe with, but the chat was going, and he chatted to us from his mic.
