I just saw that he died on February 9th died at 75.
After reading about him, I am guessing the we never saw a version of King Crimson with him in it. However, we probably saw him with Foreigner. Hey it was the 70's!
He had a knack for contributing to big pop hits like that string of Foreigner albums and 'Get It On (Bang A Gong)' by T-Rex and the always amazing 'The Court Of The Crimson King' by King Crimson.
