An interesting film and take of early rock & roll with David MacCallum (friend of Jimmy Page). You see the environment of Liverpool that spawned the Beatles. Also the similarity between a gun and a guitar -- both commanding social recognition and respect. The German Schmisser machine gun was even carried in a guitar case. "Killing it" can be meant musically and otherwise. I can't help think that John Lennon saw this film and maybe years later wrote the song, "Happiness is a Warm Gun." And, irony upon irony, Lennon was killed by a gun.
