I think this is a great black and white movie where you see the beginning roles of certain actors: Karl Malden, Lee Marvin, Hildegarde Neff. It reminds me of the British TV series The Prisoner and Secret Agent Man. The Prisoner comes to mind because the impersonator in a bar in Trieste does a Carmen Miranda impression with the song, "I Like You Very Much." Oddly that song (along with the Beatles "All You Need is Love") was used in the last episode of the Prisoner. I wish it had some wild guitar music using the vintage guitars you see on Bill's Wonderful World of Guitars, but unfortunately it doesn't. Still, it's a very good movie.
