Same here. Bowel cancer did for my brother and my dad (though it took four goes to get him) and it's had a pop at me, so I get screened every two years.
Bad family history in that respect. Been getting them since the mid-90's. So far, so good. According Mrs. merikan1, I was quite hilarious coming out from being under after the last one. Don't remember a thing. Probably better that way 🙂
