Wouldn't fit in title, but what I'm after is the album you've enjoyed (or rated) most so far, from the last decade (or two decades if you must go back further!). Any genre, but not Bill Nelson (that's a different thread in its own right). And not reissues from the 90s, 80s, 70s, etc. Can you single it down to one or two rather than giving long tedious (😉!!) lists? Should be interesting...

Narrowing it down to 10 was hard enough (in no particular order):
Beck - Guero (2005)
Broken Social Scene - Broken Social Scene (2005)
Clor - Clor (2005)
Charlotte Hatherley - The Deep Blue (2007)
Knifeworld - Buried Alone: Tales Of Crushing Defeat (2009)
Late Of The Pier - Fantasy Black Channel (2008)
Nine Inch Nails - With Teeth (2005)
North Atlantic Oscillation - Grappling Hooks (2010)
Soundpool - On High (2006)
Stuffy/The Fuses - Angels Are Ace (2007)
Eventually, I went for:
Late Of The Pier - Fantasy Black Channel
Gorillaz = Demon Days or Mansun = Attack of the Grey Lantern
Khurangbin's first studio album 'The Universe Smiles Upon You' from 2015. I guess this ticks all the boxes for a 21st century release. I first heard them about five years ago on our local jazz station. Sonically pretty seductive. I certainly enjoy their sound.
that's right, Ryan & Evan Olcott of the Foo King 12Rods baby. Also check out their "Lost Time" album - you'll be happy, if you dare.
Hmm… There are a number of albums, but most I’m considering are by 20th Century artists. To be true to the concept, I’m thinking it should be by those artists who became noted in this century. And my collection is sorely lacking in that regard.
So after a little thought, I’m going with 12 Rods “Separation Anxiety”, which just squeaks in with the 2000 release date (unless you are purest, and consider 2001 the beginning of the 21st Century).
Was turned on to these guys by a Dreamsville post, so seems even more appropriate.

Ok, you said we could have two choices, so I simply can't leave this off, the second studio release (2007) from Bloc Party...again, near perfection for me.
Editors 2005 masterpiece
Once again highlighting and cementing a magic that's so often contained within debut releases..
