Seems straight forward on my one. Master volume control below the neck, lower left and upper two dials below the bridge are separate pickup volume controls, in the same left to right sequence as the pickups, and lower right dial is master tone control. Maybe someone wired yours up incorrectly, Ken.
What does irritate me about this and many other guitars is having separate volume controls and a pickup selector switch. Yes, you can make subtle tonal adjustments by varying the volume of individual pickups in switch positions 2 and 4, but you could make greater tonal adjustments if they gave you individual tone controls instead.
