Seems straight forward on my one. Master volume control below the neck, lower left and upper two dials below the bridge are separate pickup volume controls, in the same left to right sequence as the pickups, and lower right dial is master tone control. Maybe someone wired yours up incorrectly, Ken.
What does irritate me about this and many other guitars is having separate volume controls and a pickup selector switch. Yes, you can make subtle tonal adjustments by varying the volume of individual pickups in switch positions 2 and 4, but you could make greater tonal adjustments if they gave you individual tone controls instead.
Thanks Jim for the feedback. Master control is what it should be. Alternate wiring is what I think is causing me my confusion as the others are not symmetrical as far as I can tell. . No answer yet from Eastwood.
I played around more with the controls some more and you are correct with the orientation of the lower left and upper two dials below the bridge as separate pickup volume controls, in the same left to right sequence as the pickups, and lower right dial is a single master tone control. I must have been had a senior's moment while I was trying to figure it out. Thanks again..
Yes thanks Alec. I am confused with which volume/tone dials are for the different 5 way switch. Doesn't make sense to me so I wonder if there is a problem. Sent a note to Eastwood for direction.
