When Disguise in Love first came out I read (probably in NME) that Bill played on the album, and as soon as I heard Valley I assumed that was him, but I've never seen him properly credited, unlike on the tracks mentioned above.
It's probably worth mentioning that the Invisible Girls had a varying lineup and while they were also backing band for Pauline Murray on her solo album, Bill didn't play on that (guitarists included Vini Reilly, and Bernard Sumner on a single).
Does anybody know if Bill played on Valley of the Lost Women? The guitar at the end sounds a lot like him. The version I have is live, off a compilation, but may be the same version as on Disguise in Love.
Good question. That's the one I believed somebody had told me (decades ago) that Bill was on... though I now know it's not listed amongst the credits for the album. Is Bill on VOTLW?

'The Invisible Girls' were the band that provided the music for John Cooper Clarke's album 'Disguise In Love'.
Bill played guitar on (I think) three songs, 'I Don't Want To Be Nice', 'Readers Wives' and 'Health Fanatic'.
