'The Golden Comet' has haunted and haunted since the 'Swoons And Levitations' release and re-release on Bandcamp.
Had it my head it's a train.
All I can find are The Comet and The Blue Comet and The Silver Comet, all East Coast USA.

Apparently I could not make up my mind between like and love. I will live with it. I think all high speed travel should be accompanied by a Bill Nelson sound track. It has gotten me though travels in my car [not high speed and generally within traffic]. Excuse me as I gaze out the window.
The Cyclone was a performance model of the Comet. It was built from 1964–1971.
I like the romanticism of the train better. The Mercury Comet wasn't anything special.
