Tom Davis and I have created a rap song years ago, and I was wondering if Bill would care to play guitar on the back end of it. The song is about Thom Bell, producer, arranger, and one of the Stylistics. The lyrics are remarkably similar to Bill's musical attitude, and it is only now that I clued in on it. Check out the lyrics Bill. I have done this kind of long-distance recording before by swapping mp3s, so there is no expectation of you coming to Canada. Mind you, my invitation to come to Canada with your beautiful wife Emiko is still open. This song will give you a chance to pick up the guitar again. I read that you missed holding your guitar after your fall, and this would be an excellent form of convalescence and the perfect excuse to get back into playing again. And it is not a long part to play – just the tail end. I hope you take me up on this and if you want to discuss details, let me know through chat. Anyway, all the BEST and get better soon!

Bill, I notice on Bandcamp that the picture of Electra seems Spanish and I just finished a video of a Spanish type of song called The Pleasure of the Fall. So I'm thinking what a strange coincidence. Perhaps you are meant to play a solo on this song. Yes, it is a fanciful thought, but life is stranger than fiction. I'm not satisfied with my solo on the song – I played it too safe – so maybe you can do a better job. I'm thinking about sending the song as an mp3 file, and you can add the solo. You probably want money and that's not a problem – talk to me through chat, and we'll work out an arrangement. I know you had a recent fall (incidentally, the word “fall” is in the title of the song so that is another odd coincidence) and maybe you are not up for it – or simply don't want to. That's fine with me. I don't know how things stand with you – please, let me know, one way or the other. As usual, BEST of luck and keep your spirits high!
