I assume I've got this right, but was Richard formerly a drummer from the band Hawkwind ? How did you get on ? I assume he was much better than a certain Mr Rye ? Just interested !
I read recently in the second volume of the book about JAPAN (Cries and Whispers, 1983-1991, by Anthony Reynolds) that David Sylvian originally wanted to call the company "Opium," but that Richard Chadwick thought it'd be best to add the "(Arts)" to it so as not to raise any concerns or confusions over a misinterpreted drug reference.
Richard Chadwick was a fair and thoughtful manager, a very nice man who I respected and liked very much. He is now retired and I have to say I miss his advice and help sometimes, but we very recently exchanged some emails and I still regard him as a fond friend. (Unlike that other person...) 😉.
Do any photographs exist of you with Mr. Chadwick, Mr. Nelson? 🤔 Actually, do any photographs exist at all of Opium (Arts) Ricard Chadwick?

No, Richard was never a member of Hawkwind.
