Most of you will have received an email notification with the purchase details of the ‘Old Haunts’ CD launch party, but I’ll mention it here because there are a lot of BT email users who don’t receive the email notifications (due to BT deciding that you didn’t REALLY want this information that you subscribed to? 😳).
Anyway...the launch party will be held on the 9th November at the Clothworker’s Hall in Leeds.
Tickets will be £60 and strictly limited in numbers due to the venue’s capacity.
As well as a preview of the album, introduced by Bill and a chance to purchase a signed copy of the album ahead of general release, Bill will also be performing live!
The tickets will go on sale at 17:00 GMT on Saturday 10th August...first come, first served.
Here’s the link to purchase them from https://event.bookitbee.com/23741/old-haunts-album-launch
If last year’s eve is anything to go by, the tickets will sell out very quickly, so please don’t delay!!!
Further info will appear on Dreamsville in due course!
I will be travelling up on the day and returning after the event the same day by car. Does anyone wish to share the journey with me from Kent via London and then on to Leeds?
If live streaming the show is still being contemplated, I would definitely be on board for that. I really enjoyed last year's live stream for the Auditoria launch. Nothing can match the in-person experience (which I was fortunate enough to have for the New Northern Dream launch), but I'll take the next best thing. If the live stream isn't happening this year, I'll still be there in spirit. Just ordered Old Haunts. In any event, have a great show, Bill, and all the best to you.
Can you also confirm that we don't have to log in to the booking site to buy tickets. Vital seconds can be lost setting up an account.
Yes, the album is not included in the ticket price but signed copies will be available to buy at the event, (exactly the same as last year.)
As my albums are now being manufactured and distributed by Burning Shed rather than SOS, there has been some changes in the way that sales revenue is handled. Also, including the album in the ticket price means a higher price ticket, which some people may not want. This way fans have the option of buying the pre-release album on the day or waiting to buy it later directly from Burning Shed.
Just to confirm, the £60 ticket cost does NOT include the price of the signed CD? In previous years, the launch CD has been part of the ticket price.
Excellent idea to give advance notice of a date on which the tickets will be sold. If it wasn't for this new routine I probably would have already missed out as I have only just looked at my emails for the first time since last Thursday! So that I can be prepared could I ask if PayPal will be the payment method? I need to make sure the money is in the correct place when I press the button!
