Last month, I saw that Bill Nelson had released an album of material from the 80s, and since my major association with him is a fond memory of Flaming Desire, I thought it would be worth buying. And if I’m already putting in an order, I should check out his more recent material, which led me to Palace of Strange Voltages. (I think I got the last copy, or close to), But these are long form instrumentals, an album of songs might be more representative, and the clips from The Dreamshire Chronicles sound pretty good. OK, I’ll get that as well.
End result. I loved all three and, in my next order from Burning Shed, I got Old Haunts, which I also loved. I think that when I order from them again, probably a pre-order for Dazzlebox, I’ll get a Be-Bop Deluxe album or two. I’m not crazy about multi-disc sets that have multiple mixes of an album but they’re two-disc sets for the price of a single disc, so I can’t complain.
Welcome to the forum, Tommy. And welcome to our obsession! Seriously, you can spend your whole life listening to Bll's music -- I have, nearly -- and never get bored. And it just keeps coming, which is even MORE delightful! Have fun exploring....may I recommend taking a look at the Discography section of this site (under "Music" above) for tons of info on each release.
The acoustic Rosewood albums are also a delight😎
A big welcome to you, Tommy!

Tommy, seems like you dove in the deep end so I've got no particular recommendations to 'help' navigate through 21st Century BN, suffice to say Fancy Planets is the gateway drug . . . err . . . I mean actually the musical doorway for '80s BN and '70s BN people as well . . . 😎 and speaking of the 1980s, were you there for Getting The Holy Ghost Across . . . ?
A few buttons and a few Benjamins . . . err . . . squids
I like a physical disc, but Bill also puts out stuff digitally for download. So if your apatite increases for more wonderful music, then it is available to you at the press of a few buttons.
Tommy, there are lots of fantastic albums to dive into..You should have a blast!
Nice to read what you wrote, Tommy.
