Had an interesting email request today: Prog Rock Magazine want a copy of 'My Private Cosmos' to review in their magazine. It will take some time for the journalist to absorb all 94 tracks though...so the review might not appear for quite a while...But nice that someone is aware of what's in the pipeline!

Thunder. Perfect mind with all the will in the world, the crystal gazing room allows no sleep for the alchemist nor the astronomer of the heart on an ocean of dreams. This land is haunted, Friday always in the future like mists of time in the chapel of her sparkles where the trees are full of whistling birds dreaming of another world. Time's tide - the dreams that escape me - your secret sign under fading star forever ago.

I watch the world through my window another rainy day; when the wind blows all away, time stops right here. Just curious Bill, what guitars did you use on My Private Cosmos.

I understand this could be relatively easy to answer, or prove a bit more of a headscratcher, considering the depth and breadth of this mammoth project..😉

I'm down to four guitars (from 15), which makes the default choices simpler..😂

However I do have a new one on order..😁

Good choice! From the samples I've listened to, these are the current superlative realizations of years of research, discovery and development by Bill - unmatched, as far as I'm aware of. John Spence's mastering is, as always, top notch!

Update: I listened to samples again...liked some , more, and some less... thought about how much we spend on ....freaking cat food a month...thought about our $6,000 (vet bill) cat, how much we spend on supplements, but really, it's not about money. Shit, I've been so crammed with work (pays well) for the last 3 years...but mostly I thought about whether or not I wanted to keep going through the existing Bill collection for the rest of my life, or whether I wanted a bright and shiny new box of goodies to explore for the possibly short , but probably long years I have left. I think you all know how the answer sorted itself out. Besides, I haven't been spending hardly at all on music for years, so wtf am I waffling about $111 U.S. for ? Ordered.

I know it will be much like Noise Candy - not the music, but the experience- a lot of listening, then the culling , and then the long term integration. It sleeps in my system like a dreamy disease; luminous, intelligent, and sexy 😉

Now to clear the deck of unfinished and neglected reading, music and video…Restock the wine rack, visit the dispensary, lay in a supply of firewood and free up some extended time off this winter to digest this major musical contribution.
