94 tracks spread across 6 discs, presented a fabulous book-set.
Including an exclusive Bill Nelson plectrum and a postcard (early orders will get their postcard signed).
Plus, two lucky winners will be drawn from the pre-order customers and will each receive one of Bill's original line drawings used within the book-set's artwork.
Head to Burning Shed to place your order...
Lots of samples on the Dreamsville discography page to whet your appetite too...just click on the album cover!
sound on sound, the best always comes, to the fore!!! super fanx.
You may be pleased to know that I signed more postcards than was originally intended, so 50 people who thought they'd missed out on the signed cards will get one with their package.
But every copy of the album will contain a postcard whether signed or not. Also everyone will get a guitar pick engraved with my signature on one side and the Atom symbol that graces my signature guitars on the other side.
And don't forget, two lucky people whose names will be pulled out of the digital hat will win the two original drawings that I created for the ear book. These have been framed and are now with Burning Shed. Plus, of course, you will all get 94 brand new super tracks to listen to and a beautiful earbook to absorb and enjoy.
Oh, and definitely kick that eBay scammer into touch. There will be more than enough copies available through Burning Shed. Absolutely no reason at all to fall for such an obvious trick. Why pay £120 for something you can easily buy for far less from the official source?
I guarantee no one will miss out and all orders will be fulfilled.😉
😲 Whooooohhhooooo!!! a 6-CD box set – that's the way to do it Bill 😉 Ordered on the day of announcement, quite a while back now, and just about managed to nab a signed postcard version 😎 Really looking forward to hearing the huge amount of variety contained within 😀
excellent! you will make them swoon, me thinks, she takes a bow to the artist musician
bill's first rock mag interview in where ever, what so ever, ever ever, clevor tevor, who so ever, really this it that one, well done bill, fanx to the rock mag, have a great day and knock 'em dead bill, enjoy.
Had an interesting email request today: Prog Rock Magazine want a copy of 'My Private Cosmos' to review in their magazine. It will take some time for the journalist to absorb all 94 tracks though...so the review might not appear for quite a while...But nice that someone is aware of what's in the pipeline!
So Bill covers Bill with Jets at Dawn?
I hope Bill likes my review "take" in six stanzas poetically weaving the 96 song track s! whew! i hope to afford it soon. Here it is:
Are you listening to my private cosmos, I dream, of giant telescopes when lightning strikes the steeple. "Hang this moment on a sigh," they tell you this. They tell you that "driving through England light rain - set your dials for dreaming!" Kingdom of the sky, the Kirkella Bells are living on the moon tonight. The dusk before the dark, glittering figures a gnostic lullaby, and paint days of wonder... picture perfect the painter/music artist!
Thunder. Perfect mind with all the will in the world, the crystal gazing room allows no sleep for the alchemist nor the astronomer of the heart on an ocean of dreams. This land is haunted, Friday always in the future like mists of time in the chapel of her sparkles where the trees are full of whistling birds dreaming of another world. Time's tide - the dreams that escape me - your secret sign under fading star forever ago.
I watch the world through my window another rainy day; when the wind blows all away, time stops right here. I was speaking with Orson Welles when the techno punk gets rhythm, merry and bright where old brown town lanterns are lighting the night - the universe is fast asleep. seven keys to this city travels Osram Diadem, Fantistico and The Paradox Machine in the 21st century.
Silver sparks and coloured stars, helios in memory land gazing through golden windows. The navigator, an acre of sunshine, the light in the mirror the bone beneath the skin and ghosts dance in ghostland. The memory museum, room one orates silver stars will shine when ghost trains travel on phantom tracks I recall the jets at dawn. There's a star somewhere, the spectral waltz of venus, my private cosmos, part two - curiosity's domain!
A dip in the spark jar... this clockwork world, when we were beautiful hi-tone Saturday in a mechanical city, one dreamlike world coasting some days orange, some days blue in the land of nothing doing but magic and mystery; the super sensualist white falcon II flies far side of nowhere; the TV's on the blink and all the world was ours!
Moonlight rider of ancient angels watching me the long lost summer at the Roy Rogers' Radio Ranch - Space Cowboys, White Falcon One, Wonder Kid and Puzzlepop fathom in my catalogue of dreams, "The Infernal Machine," until tomorrow. Comic cuts the listening station, "there are stars beyond the night!" Celluloid ghosts say "hey ho, there you go," my mortal coils.
Just ordered! Christmas gift to me. Thanks for the new music Bill. As always, really looking forward to it!
Just curious Bill, what guitars did you use on My Private Cosmos.
I understand this could be relatively easy to answer, or prove a bit more of a headscratcher, considering the depth and breadth of this mammoth project..😉
I'm down to four guitars (from 15), which makes the default choices simpler..😂
However I do have a new one on order..😁
you can still pre-order, it needs to be you, that purchases the boxset in the end ok!!!!
Is this a limited in numbers release. I'm skint at the moment so can't order it just yet! I hope it isn't and I can get it soon!
Good choice! From the samples I've listened to, these are the current superlative realizations of years of research, discovery and development by Bill - unmatched, as far as I'm aware of. John Spence's mastering is, as always, top notch!
Update: I listened to samples again...liked some , more, and some less... thought about how much we spend on ....freaking cat food a month...thought about our $6,000 (vet bill) cat, how much we spend on supplements, but really, it's not about money. Shit, I've been so crammed with work (pays well) for the last 3 years...but mostly I thought about whether or not I wanted to keep going through the existing Bill collection for the rest of my life, or whether I wanted a bright and shiny new box of goodies to explore for the possibly short , but probably long years I have left. I think you all know how the answer sorted itself out. Besides, I haven't been spending hardly at all on music for years, so wtf am I waffling about $111 U.S. for ? Ordered.
I know it will be much like Noise Candy - not the music, but the experience- a lot of listening, then the culling , and then the long term integration. It sleeps in my system like a dreamy disease; luminous, intelligent, and sexy 😉
OMG! Yes, Yes, Yes. This is truly going to be an Ultra Classic! Thanks Bill!
Excellent news on the wire this past day!
Now to clear the deck of unfinished and neglected reading, music and video…Restock the wine rack, visit the dispensary, lay in a supply of firewood and free up some extended time off this winter to digest this major musical contribution. It doesn‘t get much better than this…as a smooth crooner sang back in the day, It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!!!
