...Although technically correct (as far as an official release), that's not quite 100% accurate....There is the 1995 12"vinyl white label (sampler) promo release, of three tracks from the 'After The Satellite Sings' CD album, distributed by 'Resurgence', who also dealt with the original 1995 Bill Nelson box-set of 'My Secret Studio'...The title info given on the promo label sticker incorrectly gives the title as 'After A Satellite Sings'..
Got my CD copy at Tower records when it came out. "Two Hearts Beating" was an instant fave. Drums sounding like galloping horses, always thought of them as "runaway drums", which sounds pretty vague trying to put in to words. Re-listening to it always brings back good memories.
Yes it is... only 20 years worth on Vinyl.. seems it should be a lot more.
I'd love to have Blue Moons & Laughing Guitars on Vinyl... I have the Luminous LP out and on standby to play tomorrow... Thanks Wadcorp for the notice.
(I had the CD years before I was able to get the Vinyl copy... it sounds Great!)
The cold chills up the spine of ‘A Luminous Kind Of Guy’The midday warmth of ‘Tiny Aeroplanes’The nostalgic longing of ‘Bright Sparks’The cosmic questions of ‘Is This Alchemy?’The mystical interchange of ‘Language Of The Birds’The happiness of acceptance of ‘All I Am Is You’The surrealism of ‘Life In Reverse’The day dream hypnosis of ‘Telepathic Cats’The resounding anthem of love of ‘Two Hearts Beating’The grinning pop with dark implications of ‘Blood Off The Wall’The psychedelic pop of ‘She's Got Me Floating’The existential groove of ‘It's Ok’The funky blues of ‘Burning Down’The beautiful strumming ballad of ‘Her True And Perfect Serpent’The shiny optimism of ‘Wait For Tomorrow’
Had no idea... Think of what a vinyl album sized cover of 'After The Satellite Sings' would look like...

...One for the collectors/completists.

Yes, it was amazing to get the vinyl version of that one.
Good point about Blue Moons. That'd be an amazingly deluxe vinyl LP.

One of the best; glad I got the reissue a few years ago. The little experimental pop songs were great bits of home-studio fun.
