I'm thinking about buying one of the Harley Benton telecaster style guitars:

although as I'm left-handed I'll have to wait until the LH model becomes available:

For the price these guitars get some pretty good write ups, although one criticism is that the p/u selector is too close to the volume knob. However, the layout on the HB guitars is very similar to that on the guitar that Bill is holding on his home page (sorry I don't recognise the make). So my question is does this cause a problem for Bill, or is it something quite minor? All comments aprreciated!
PS I've taken a punt on a HB guitar already, the GS Travel E LH Mahogany:

It's a copy of the Taylor GS mini. For the money it's great value with a piezo p/u and gig bag included. It played pretty well straight out of the box and with a few mods will be even better!
The pickup selector being close to the volume knob can be annoying depending on how you play. I had a similar setup on one of my guitars, and at first, I kept knocking it by accident when I got into the rhythm. After a while though, I got used to it, and now it doesn’t bother me at all.
