Right.....here's mine - in no particular order and off the top of me head, with a mind to create a list with a spread of styles:
Pink Buddha Blues
Right, Then Left
Super Noodle No 1
Days Of Golden Dreams
All The World Flies Kites Tonight
The Raindrop Collector
Portrait Of Jan With Flowers
Behold These Present Days
Ocean Afternoon
Switch On The Sky, Light Up The Stars
If it was twenty, or thirty, like us all, I could have filled it no problem......but these are the ones that come to mind today 'this very moment'.....see - there's another one without even trying....
oh.....and Ladies Removing Lingerie.....and Planet Of Sleeping Buddhas.....and.....
I always thought it was something like “You’ve got some mad sexy wife”. But never knew for sure... great question, would love to get the definitive answer! 😬
It’s good that Jon likes 'Sex Psyche Etc', it is one of my favourites. It would be good if I could get clarification on what is being said on the track. I posted an item a few years ago now to which Bill replied, and he couldn’t remember. I’ll ask again about the section in question; someone might know. I think ‘some have sexy wives’ is being uttered, the wife thinks ‘some have sexy whites’? Help!
I also think ‘Hard Facts...’, 'Wonderful Weather...' and ‘The Receiver and the Fountain Pen’ are brilliant.
I've always liked Hard Facts. For one thing, I admire Bill's patience in putting it together perfectly. And recently I "discovered" The Receiver and the Fountain Pen, which is on one of the 80s albums that I missed out on.
I'll have a think about my top ten BN instrumentals. One track I've come to like very much is Portrait of Jan with Moon and Stars. This track is made for me by the exquisite cadence at the end.

Yes - going to watch it again now - so excited! Just playing The Unrealist for the FIFTH time in a row - so - track 12 (What To Wear Now, What To Wear Next) is particularly fab - so - again - all you long term fans (whom i'm soo looking forward to meet next year, possibly, if it's on?) - can we revisit the top 10 again - but TRACKS this time rather than albums?

From memory, I think it's "Some have sixty wives..."

I meant instrumental ones (including anything involving 'found' vocals)

That’ll be the ‘Live at the Metropolis’ video...a great recording unfortunately tainted by the record company forgetting to actually pay the artist! 😖
