Bill's new 2019 video Christmas Card showcases his signature melodically lavish & aurally ravishing guitar tones on this beautiful instrumental track and video by himself in his traditional yearly Christmas video card on his YouTube video channel... According to an email from Bill Nelson's Dreamsville <jon@nelsonica.com> titled "Clocks And Dials, and a Christmas Video Card...", "The video features a brand new instrumental track, the first recorded on Bill's new recording equipment that has been publicly released!"
However, the resolution is only 480 and starting at 6 sec and prominent in the quiet parts of the track are alot of what I can only guess are audio compression artifacts, perhaps a result of the YouTube upload or YouTubes own compression/playing process??? It's a shame because the music itself is so glorious, and the new studio seems inherently to pack a whallop of a sound, but perhaps it was too much to squeeze into a 480 YouTube post? I wondered if it is supposed to be a fire crackling but on repeated listenings I can only hear it as loud and obvious audio noise. Hopefully Bill or someone notices this and posts a fixed higher-rez version. This deserves to be heard in the audio perfection with which I am sure Bill created it!
I remember it. I didn't have any problems with it!
