This is one of Bill's personal favourites, a fantastic instrumental album that has been unavailable for about 15 years!!! Doesn't time fly?!?
Bandcamp are also waiving their commission today - from 8am today (Friday) until 8am Saturday morning (all times are BST).

Once more, it’s anniversary time for “Dreamland To Starboard”, released on this day in 2004.
.
One of the best Bill Nelson albums ever, just beautiful.

Definition of sublime instrumental guitar work right there.
Dreamland to Starboard has always been way up on my list of favorites. In the liner notes Bill describes it as, "...something that a boy of the 1950's may have dug up in his parent's back garden and found dated as being from the 21st Century." I think that describes it perfectly.
However, I couldn't help but notice on the Dreamsville home page it says Satellite Songs above the image of Dreamland to Starboard.
Thanks, Bill. Been waiting for this one since you started releasing previous
albums on Bandcamp. Downloaded and ready to listen tonight. Cheers !
This is a wonderful instrumental album, and Standard Fireworks is, as Palladium states, worth entry alone.....but the whole album is a fantastic listen from start to finish.....I'd forgotten how much I love this - there are not enough weeks in the day to remember to revisit some of these older albums!!!
I think I bought my copy at The Bloomsbury, London at a gig in 2005 off the counter at the entrance....Bill was standing there, but I didn't talk to him as he was in conversation with someone at the time.....well, it would've been rude to interrupt wouldn't it?
Just out of curiosity: who selects which tracks are available to listen to on each Bandcamp release? Is it Bill or are they just picked at random by someone at Bandcamp?
Such a great album.
Go get it, people!

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you
Burnished, Tarnished, Radio Waves Lap Memory's Shore, Moments Flash Like Stars Between Them...
What an album! For me, Standard Fireworks alone is worth the price of admission. Every track is a memorable classic. Great to see it become more widely available...
