Hi Bill, I hope your well and your mums health is improving..
Are you finding an improvement in sale order numbers since moving over to Burning Shed and are you finding an increase in followers ?
are you putting out more than 500 copies per album in view of this ?
do you get feedback to monitor these things ?
i want to know where the millions of Be Bop fans are hiding !!!
Apologies for the overly long sentence structures - am reading Proust - got part way through volume 4 - have to write every post in a Proustian sort of way ...
Have collected everything up to & including Plaything (except Caliban & The Chrome Harmonium) & have applied a sort of scattergun approach to the rest (got a lot of downloads still to make into cds) - can't seem to find Satellite songs or most of 2008 (managed to get Clocks & Dials and Mazda Kaleidoscope)
Inquiring minds want to know.
.
One of them's hiding in Glossop & having embarked on the long journey of collecting & getting to know this amazing body of work, would much prefer to buy a pre-made album rather than a download. I think the market would be there for further production runs. Our house is groaning under the ever growing weight of my vinyl and cd collection, and, since the probability of ever owning an actual castle, though small but finite, is very unlikely, since my days of doing the lottery are long gone, i am for ever dreaming up new & imaginative ways to get more cds in without annoying the wife (who has already, though mostly very appreciative of all things Bill, coined the term 'overbill' & established a blanket house ban of Peter Hammill & The Mountain Goats (can't cope with the voices), so i need to be careful) and have had to build a new cd shelf for the sole purpose of getting MORE Bill in!
