Hi Bill,
If you think it's worth it, I'd be quite happy to get our workshop guys to take a look at the unit to see if it's repairable. One of the guys is a guitar player and a fan of yours so he'd do his very best. As no PM service e-mail me if you you like us to have a look.

Mike Robinson at Eastwood contacted Duesenberg about the broken trem and Duesenberg said they'd had several of the units fail. Apparently it was a bad batch that were made at the factory. I've been sent a replacement and the guitar is now with Gordon White at 'Single Coil' repairs to have the replacement unit fitted. I'm hoping it's no another one from the faulty batch...
I think Major Snagg's problem is a different one to the break that my unit had. The posts are fine on my Astroluxe and seem to be holding up ok.
I've had a Duesenberg trem fitted to my Musicvox Space Cadet and had one fitted to my other Musicvox guitar, (the latter for a while now,) with no problems. I've also got one fitted to my Tokai Firebird and a different style Duesenberg trem fitted to my D'Angelico NY-SS. On the whole, I've been very pleased with them.
