I recently heard an hour long program on the music of Harold Budd and was totally enchanted. What albums of his do you recommend to get me started? Thank you!
'By The Dawn's Early Light' for me, and not just because I took part in its recording but because it has Harold reciting some of his own poetry on certain tracks and hearing his voice brings him back from another realm to momentarily be with me again. My other favourite is 'Pavilion Of Dreams' because it reminds me of how I discovered Harold's music back in the late '70s and also because it is stunningly beautiful.
Thank you Bill and everyone else who responded to my question. From the responses it seems that all of Harold’s is worth having and you really can’t go wrong💜
