Here is a photo of 'Us Lot' at the same 'Family Of Man' spot a couple of years ago. Can't say I look quite as stylish as you Bill, but I seem to be wearing a tee shirt that goes somewhere towards.....
Nice looking lightweight bakers/chore jacket or French workers jacket style..love the golden/mustard colour..almost looks like technical material, but probably lightweight cotton..nice jacket.......check out Mr Porter, Flannels and Stewarts London alec (and similar)…poss. from a York boutique?, for a guess....Universal Works do a nice one.
Small world. I was also at the sculpture park on tuesday, never saw you ;-) Nice day, they were shearing the wooly lawnmowers (sheep) in the Andy Goldsworthy shadow stone fold. Didn't think much of the Damien Hirsts they've just installed but the new Weston building is nice, as was the Kimsooja installation in the chapel.
Great photos. Very California-looking that setting, what with the grass and the very loud sunlight.Great gear and what sort of shoes are those? And the jacket?Interesting to read that Ian had the attitude you describe here, the nonchalant perspective on things. Ian always seems very sensitive to the point of angelic, basically, in the toddler pics that you’ve share and that sort carries over (but in a different way) to the Fiat Lux era. The only photo’ I’ve seen of Ian that truly matches a laugh-it-off attitude that you’ve described here is the one where he’s wearing a Red Noise shirt. He’s reading a letter and there are packets of fags close by.

Is that another photo of the Queen of Yorkshire - Diana Rigg? Now that Robert Palmer is dead, does that make Bill the King?
"what sort of shoes are those?"
The shoes definitely look like Dr. Martens.
"And the jacket? "

Intriguing title of the journal entry. A bit Hobbitty :)
