Bill standing on the old foundations of the Chalet that his parents owned at The Golden Sands Chalet Park in Withernsea on the East Coast of Yorkshire. The Chalet had fallen over the cliffs into the sea due to coastal erosion.

Bill feeling sad at the loss of his parent's Chalet at Withernsea. The pebbles were originally collected by Bill from the beach and laid out as a paving pattern in front of the Chalet, sometime in the early 1960s when he was in his teens.. Today, (2020,) the sea has come in even further and swept away more chalets and the area where Bill is squatting in the photo' no longer exists.
