Yeah, my brother was right into that. He was seeing clues everywhere. He'd come down for breakfast and there would be some clues staring up at him from his porridge. He'd go out for a walk and if the light turned red he'd say, "You say stop. I say go, go, go"... thinking he'd experience Paul's accident and find out more clues. It was crazy in our house. Our parents took shelter wherever they could, usually at the neighbors. Cops came to the door and my brother got them to play paddy cake... I don't know how he did it. Probably told them he figured out more Beatles clues, and they could crack the case if they did exactly what he said. Oh, Billy Shear! What madness you bring! (just joking)

God knows who or what that is. I think at the end of the video it's Beck (who's artistic father uses to hang with John Lennon) but you can never tell about these things. It might be some avatar for the virtual life of a Beatles fan. I really like this song and don't know why it is not more well known. The glam/T Rex harmonies are great, the dynamics of the piece is in line with the lyrics, the Bonoesque vocals are wonderful, it's a cosmic dance and Paul does this dance extraordinarily well. I've added words to the video. The title I gave it is an amalgam or marriage of the two song titles. I sometimes think why wouldn't Paul like this video if it produces strong art. But older artists can be so touchy and cranky at times. This is a joyous song that makes me want to dance to the inner light.

I like your idea of Billy Shears. It's a wonder the Beatles didn't go back and do a follow-up on him. There could be a rock opera called “Billy Shears” about a Salvation Army band leader and his relationship with Sgt Pepper. The story can go anywhere you want it to go. People revisit the past all the time, and it is a great source for new ideas. You just got to be open to new ideas from unlikely sources.
