I'm new to this forum but not the Dreamsville site.
Bill Nelson is the reason I became a guitar player back in 1977. He literally changed the direction of my life through his music.
Here is my cover version tribute to Bill and Be-Bop Deluxe. "Down on Terminal Street"
Ironically besides my vocals, the entire song was done with virtual instruments in my home studio on a PC. No guitars were harmed! Enjoy!
Cheers,
Marco
Cool and an interesting choice. Well done.
Nicely done! One of my fave Be-Bop Deluxe songs.
Great cover!
Thank you! I tried to stay as true as possible to the original. The lead-in from Forbidden Lovers was too long and different, so I had to improvise an intro with feedback and synth before the bells came in. Glad you liked it!
Cheers
Drums a bit busy, otherwise very good, and your voice is confident and strong. I liked the brief synths intro – which might've taken it in a quite different direction.
