Now that I'm not strutting my stuff with Bill, doing a basket full of wickedly fancy guitar solos on the Tommy Bolin song "Crazed Fandango," I am doing my art. And I did two pieces that I think this viewing audience would know and appreciate.
As a Canadian citizen and member of the Commonwealth, the Queen is my Queen too. So I wonder if she ever had the secret urge to pose for Roxy Music? And maybe she had an urge to pose with Be Bop Deluxe. What album would she pose for with Be Bop Deluxe? I think Sunburst Finish where the Queen and the band are in the plastic container and on the front cover she is holding up the flaming guitar.
Speaking of missing things, how did Bill miss the opportunity to present this image for the Cloud that people use today to upload and save their digital information? It was way too simplex of an idea. Here is a priceless piece of advertising art.
Good Lord, not even a chuckle from you guys. Not even a "We are not amused!" You are Brits after all? I guess everybody worships Karl Marx these days. I would have thought some clever type would have come up with this coupling years ago years. Maybe Brian Eno should have dressed in drag and done a send up when he was with the band. But that's the thing, genius rarely goes noticed until it is seen. And then everybody says "AH! I should have thought that!" Yes, the Queen in a Roxy Music album cover. So obvious now.
